Welcome to the VRDC!

The Village Reform Democratic Club's mission is to foster the link between local political activists and the national Democratic infrastructure. As a grassroots organization, the VRDC provides a venue for discourse relating to issues that arise both in New York's downtown area and on the state and national stages.

Founded in 1983, the VRDC's reform minded roots continue on as the Club strives to provide a higher level of transparency into the day-to-day political process.

The VRDC Website is an excellent resource for learning about important community-related issues, news, and events. We meet regularly and pride ourselves on respecting the wide diversity of viewpoints within the Democratic Party. If you're interested in politics, live downtown, and enjoy meeting likeminded neighbors, welcome.
